“Swan Lake,” “The Pink Panther” and “The Cuckoo Waltz”: familiar melodies take on an unfamiliar setting through the electronic organ. This animal-themed collection of classical and film favourites invites a DJ’s reinterpretation—a brief detour that could shift the atmosphere between selections. Placed alongside ambient or exotica records, it offers a chance to hear beyond recognition, attending instead to tone, melody and the impressions they leave in a room. An invitation to discover unexpected otherworldliness within everyday easy listening.
