「Lead Me On」の穏やかなメロウ感、「A World Without Love」のダンス志向のアレンジに注目したい。
Featuring covers of Air Supply’s “All Out of Love” and Dan Fogelberg’s “Longer,” Jennifer Yen’s 1980 Malaysian EMI release is an inviting female-vocal mellow pop album. Produced by Reggie Verghese and arranged by Martin Pereira, its English-language repertoire combines soft rock and romantic ballads with touches of boogie. Highlights include the gentle “Lead Me On” and the dance-oriented treatment of “A World Without Love.” The ten tracks also feature “This Night Won’t Last Forever,” co-written by Bill LaBounty, and the Siva Choy-penned title song. Recommended for collectors of AOR, soft rock and sweet female vocal pop.
