Featuring covers of the Bee Gees’ “Love You Inside Out” and Neil Young’s “Lotta Love”! Malaysian singer Sharifah Aini’s 1979 English-language album was produced by Reggie Verghese and arranged by Martin Pereira. Its twelve tracks range from soul and disco to pop ballads, including the Three Degrees’ title song, ABBA’s “Chiquitita” and “I Have a Dream,” and the Dionne Warwick favourite “I Know I’ll Never Love This Way Again.” Dance-oriented selections sit alongside romantic, melody-led songs, making this an inviting pick for collectors of mellow female vocals, AOR and late-seventies pop.
