Rhodes, clavinet, Mellotron and analogue synthesizers make this Malaysian pop-rock album an intriguing pick for keyboard enthusiasts. Led and produced by Freddie Fernandez, Revolvers feature Lewis Pragasam on drums and Anuar Razak on bass and vocals. The title track and “Masa Remaja” spotlight synthesizer solos, while “Dunia Impian” gives both drums and bass their own featured passages. Acoustic guitar on “Gadis Timur,” piano on “Ku Kecewa” and the Malay dance tradition of “Joget Untuk Adik Ku” broaden the ten-track programme. Recommended for collectors exploring the meeting of Malay-language pop and musician-focused band arrangements.
