A Mandarin pop album by Taiwanese singer Chen Qiong Mei, with arrangements by Chen Chih-Yuan and accompaniment from the Tony Orchestra. Its twelve tracks include “Oh! Carlo,” the film theme “愛情追追追,” Huang Jen-Ching’s “我家” and the familiar Taiwanese pop song “踏浪.” Film songs meet accessible pop repertoire on a release worth exploring for collectors of Taiwanese female vocal records. The sleeve’s reference to a Japanese hit adds another point of interest for those tracing connections between Japanese and Taiwanese popular music.
